VPN (Virtual Private Network) Connection
| The VPN
connection is the solution for our customers who are behind
a strict firewall or who are usign an ISP which restricts
their internet access.
Enjoy the YupeePhone
VPN connection for FREE until
October 1st 2010 while our promotional offer
is active. With our VPN you can :
- visit any website on the internet
and stay annonymous at work or at school.
- protect your Privacy so that your
ISP will not be able to spy on you.
- connect to FaceBook and play online
games with no restrictions.
- watch your favourite TV programs
online without country restrictions on Fox, CBC, Huly and
more.
In the past, some ISPs were blocking certain
ports, however the use of the IAX protocol in countries like
UAE and Oman was possible. Now the providers are effectively
blocking both SIP and IAX connections. The VPN feature is
free for the Beta period and after that there will be a very
small fee. Please contact our Support
Department to get your free VPN account.
ENCRYPTION When you are
using a VPN connection, the data sent from your computer to
our servers gets encrypted on the fly. The data packets are
decoded on our server and the phone call is forwarded to one
of our termination servers. We have multiple VPN servers in
many countries around the world with different IPs. If an
IP is blocked it will be changed in 24 hours. |
