Free VoIP Software
| If
you have a high speed internet connection (at least DSL) and
you want to use your PC to make calls, we will help you minimize
the cost. You will need a headset/microphone to use the software.
You can use a SIP client or
an IAX client with our services. When you fill out the order
form, you will be asked if you want us to activate the SIP
or the IAX protocol or both.

BLOCKED PORTS
If you live in a country that
blocks VoIP (i.e. UAE, Oman) it is possible that your internet
provider is using an advanced method to block all SIP and
IAX connections. In this case the only solution is to encrypt
the data stream between your PC and our network, using a Virtual
Private Network Connection. |

| QuteCom
is a cross-platform, open source softphone for Windows, Mac/OSX
and Linux.
It allows users to speak and
make video calls to other users of SIP compliant VoIP software
at no cost. It also allows users to call landlines, cellphones,
send SMS through YupeePhone.
The first time you use it,
enter your YupeePhone SIP username and your SIP password
(not your account username and password). You will find all
the necessary information under SIP/IAX INFO
in your online YupeePhone account.
The SIP Domain/Realm
is : sip.yupeephone.com
QuteCom supports several codecs
such as iLBC, G.711 (PCMA or PCMU), G.722, AMR(license needed),
AMR-WB(license needed), G.729(license needed).
ADD CONTACTS FROM
MULTIPLE NETWORKS
You can use QuteCom to add
contacts from MSN, YIM, AIM, ICQ and GoogleTalk and chat with
them. QuteCom combines all these protocols in one simple client. |

| PhonerLite
is one of the easiest softphones ever made. PhonerLite enables
your PC to be used for internet telephony (VoIP, Voice over
IP).
The first time you use it,
enter your YupeePhone SIP username and your SIP password (not

necessary information under SIP/IAX info in your online YupeePhone
account.
PhonerLite supports several
SIP profiles, each configurable independently. In the same
way the integrated phone book and call log are easy to use.

If you are using X-lite, please change the Call Inactivity.
Go to Options/Advanced/Network and under
the option "In times of network disruption, automatically
hang up calls after" change the values to 5400
seconds.

| Kiax
is an IAX client application (a so called Softphone) which
allows PC users to make ordinary VoIP calls to Asterisk servers,
the same way as they do it with their hardware telephone.
It aims to provide a simple
and user-friendly graphical interface and desktop integration
for calling, contact list, call register management and easy
configuration. The IAX protocol can handle a lot better connections
through strict firewalls. |

Skype to YupeePhone |
| You
and your family can connect to the YupeePhone network using
Skype! Add yupeephone as your contact and
call it with Skype.
All calls to yupeephone via Skype are totally
free. You will be asked to enter your YupeePhone PIN number.
To enter the PIN and the number you wish
to call, you have to use the Skype Dial Pad,
which is next to the call duration and the Skype call volume.
Once connected to YupeePhone, you can call
any other YupeePhone members for free (SIP device/software),
access the iNum network for free or dial out to any destination
with the low YupeePhone rates. |
